Petron conducted our Bi-annual Customer Satisfaction Survey in early 2013. We are seeing a nice increase on the rate of return:

* 23% returned in 2013 (all sent electronically)
* 20% returned in 2011 (all sent electronically)
* 12% returned in 2009 (all sent electronically)

(Electronic based Surveys average 10-15% in response rate)

Petron has averaged an 86% Satisfaction Rating for the last 10 years.

When we break the survey down into sections we can see that Petron’s products, quality, and pricing have been trending upward and demonstrating continuous improvement.

Some of our Goals from our 2013 Customer Satisfaction Survey:

* Continue to offer Training to our Distributors, End Users, and Personnel.
* Work on giving more (and timely) field service.
* Continue to give our Customers, Distributors, and Suppliers the Highest Quality and Best Service that we can possibly accomplish.

In addition to the Customer Satisfaction Survey Petron keeps track of several key measurables, a couple of which are:
* On Time Shipments averaging 98.6%
* Customer Complaints averaging 0.4%
* First Time Through for Products averaging 97%

ISO 9000-2008

November 28th, 2012 Our Quality System Registrar - SRI completed its 20th surveillance audit of Petron and granted Unconditional Approval to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. Petron scores 3.6 on ExxonMobil’s Third Party Product Integrity Manual (3PIM) Audit

ExxonMobil’s quality audit team spent three days auditing Petron’s laboratory and manufacturing facilities and procedures to determine compliance with their Third Party Product Integrity Manual. The three day audit included a review of Petron’s ISO processes as well as interviews with Petron employees in all departments. Petron’s manufacturing group scored a 3.6 out of a possible 4.0 points on the audit. A score of 3.6 is considered very good. We are proud of the efforts our production and warehouse employees put forth each day throughout the year to ensure we remain in compliance with ExxonMobil’s requirements.

Kiran Batchu Joins Petron

Petron would like to welcome their new Production Manager, Kiran Batchu, who joined the organization on August 6, 2012. Kiran has a 1994 BS degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Kiran was previously employed in manufacturing management at Gen Probe GTI Diagnostics in Waukesha, WI. Kiran brings over 15 years of experience managing all aspects of manufacturing and production and has extensive experience in ISO, GMP, and FDA quality system regulations. Kiran will be responsible for the day-to-day production management. Additionally we look forward to her contributions in improving our ISO processes. Welcome Kiran.

ISO Renewal

Petron passed their ISO 9001:2008 Renewal audit with Unconditional Approval from SRI Quality System Registrar. The current registration period is from February 5th, 2012 through February 4th, 2015. Petron has been ISO certified since February 7th, 2000. Please go to the Petron home page and click on ISO 9001:2008 Certified at the bottom of the page to view the registration certificate.
