Petron Publishes Article in World Cement Magazine

Customer Satisfaction Survey 2015
Petron Conducted our Bi-annual Customer Satisfaction Survey in early 2015 (Electronic based surveys average a 24% response rate).
- 28% return rate in 2015 (all electronic)
- 23% return rate in 2013 (all electronic)
- 20% return rate in 2011 (all electronic)
- 12% return rate in 2009 (all electronic)
Petron has averaged an 86% Satisfaction Rating for the last 12 years.
Record Year at Petron
We have now completed our 2014 fiscal year at Petron and I am proud to report that we set all-time records in both sales and operating income.
Sales at Petron continued at a strong pace in 2014 even though there appears to be some softening in the copper, gold and iron ore markets.
We benefited on the sales line this year by adding some additional toll blending volume with one of our major oil customers. The new business started in our last quarter of 2014 and we will feel the full effects of this volume in 2015. We added two new raw material storage tanks to our Plant One expansion in 2014 to handle this increase in toll blend business.
In addition, the sales of our Premium 30 B series OGL for shovels and draglines continues to grow at an amazing clip both domestically and internationally. If the volumes we are projecting for 2015 start to materialize we will have to dedicate a mixing kettle just for this product line.
We have now outgrown our existing space at Petron and we are undertaking an engineering study to determine how many square feet we need to build on our property to address our space issues. Our preliminary study indicates we will have to add 8,000 more square feet in our warehouse and 12,000 square feet in our Plant. We expect to finalize our plans in the next couple of months and start construction in May with a November completion date.
These are exciting times at Petron and I am glad to be part of the team that is making it all happen.

I am pleased to report that Petron passed our ISO 9001:2008 registration renewal audit on November 18, 2014.
Petron passed this audit with unconditional approval.
This is our 22nd audit by an outside auditor since we began our ISO program in 2000.
Our registrar is SRI and they took time after the audit to compliment everyone at Petron for their commitment to our ISO program. They were extremely impressed with how thorough of job we do on our process audits and management meetings. They were also very complimentary on the overall attitude of everyone they talked to. They said we had a very strong team atmosphere at Petron and hearing that made me all the more proud of our accomplishment.
Good job to all who contributed to the success of this audit as well as to all of you who make our ISO quality system a part of what you do every day at Petron.

Petron Expands Sales and Service Support in Mexico
Petron Corporation is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Francisco “Paco” Cerillo to expand the sales and service support in Mexico.
Paco resides in Queretaro, Queretaro, MX and has worked in the lubrication industry for many years selling and servicing a wide range of lubricants to the mining, cement, and manufacturing industries.
Paco’s presence in Mexico will enhance the technical support provided to our current customers while enabling us to expand into new markets.
