The Quality & Technical Department has purchased a Falex Four-Ball Extreme Pressure Test Machine.  This equipment measures a lubricant’s extreme pressure properties under high hertzian contact in pure sliding, or pure rolling, motion.  This will allow us to test and determine the load carrying properties of our lubricants under extreme test loads right on site.  This equipment will help us reduce the time spent on new product development and hone in on the appropriate amount of additives needed in a formulation.   EJP
